                     RANDOLPH MANTOOTH

BIRTH DATE: September 19, 1945, Sacramento, California

CLAIM TO FAME: No doubt most of think of Randolph's role as
paramedic John Gage on Emergency! It is the role that first
shot him to stardom. He played the role from 1972 to 1979.
Others may know him as Clay Alden (later Alex Masters) on
the soap opera 'Loving', which he played from 1987 to 1990
and from 1993 to 1995.

FAMILY LIFE: Kristen Connors (August 2002 - present)
Rose Parra (1978 - 1991) (divorced)

INFO: Randy was discovered in New York by a Universal talent
agent after performing the lead in the play "Philadelphia,
Here I Come," and returned to California. He slowly built up
his resume with work on such dramatic series as "Adam-12,",
"McCloud," "Alias Smith" and "Marcus Welby, M.D." This led to
his role on "Emergency."

TRIVIA: He is half Seminole Indian.

Co-owns a bar in New York.

The Tubes' paid a bit of satirical homage to him as he was
referred to as "Randy Mantooth" during the game show parody
tune "What Do You Want From Life?"

Was once engaged to Joyce DeWitt who played Janet on 'Three's
Company'

Bought a 13-1/2 acre ranch in Agoura, California, in the 1970s
that was later destroyed by the devastating "Malibu Fire" on
October 15, 1978.

One of his first jobs in the entertainment industry was being
an NBC Page at their television studios at Rockefeller Center
in New York City.

Randy and Kevin Tighe were never tested together for the roles
of "Johnny" and "Roy" on Emergency! When first introduced they
were simply told "here is your new best friend". They still
remain best friends today. In fact, Kevin was Best Man at his
2002 wedding.

During Emergency!'s early run Randy could not go shopping at the
local supermarkets because children would recognize him and
followed him around saying "Look mom, Johnny Gage is buying
Mayonnaise!"

He is an avid camper and loves to travel across the country.

The first Broadway play he saw was "Hair".

Enjoys all sports, and is an avid baseball fan. His favorite
baseball team is the Los Angeles Dodgers.

WHERE IS HE NOW: After a career lull in the early 1980s, Randy
found a new direction in his career with daytime soaps. And
throughout the years he has appeared on "Loving", "General
Hospital," "One Life to Live" and "As the World Turns".

Randy has frequently returned to his theater roots in such
productions as "Footprints in Blood," "Back to the Blankets,"
"Wink Dah," "The Independence of Eddie Rose," "The Paper Crown,"
"The Inuit" and, most recently "Rain Dance" off-Broadway in 2003.

Serves as a board member of Project 51. He has several projects
in various stages of development and is co-owner of a bar in New
York. The project that is closest to his heart is USAR-1, a new
series that is being developed and presented to the networks with
co-creator Hayma Washington.

In addition to his busy acting and screenwriting career, he is a
frequent keynote speaker at Fire and EMS events across the country.
He serves as Honorary Chairman of the Board for the nonprofit County
of Los Angeles Fire Museum Association, actively supporting the
museum's James O. Page Memorial Building Fund and their effort to
acquire a permanent facility.

Has been actively involved in several charitable causes such as
The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
