Lindsay Lohan Set For 'Ugly Betty' Appearance...
Lindsay Lohan is set to make a guest appearance on 'Ugly Betty'.
Rumors surrounding the star's role in the show emerged last week
and suggested she had signed up to eight episodes of the program,
but word is the singer/actress will appear in the show's season
finale, after she was photographed on the set of 'Ugly Betty' in
Los Angeles on Saturday.
Meanwhile in other Ugly Betty news...
America Ferrera has laughed off reports she is engaged to long-
time beau Ryan Piers Williams.
The star - who plays the hit show's lead character Betty - was
at the center of online speculation suggesting she was to wed
her filmmaker boyfriend after she was spotted sporting a shining
diamond ring on her engagement finger on the set of the show.
But the actress' rep has denied the reports, apparently suggest-
ing the ring could be part of a plot twist on the hit show.

Paul McCartney And Ringo Starr To Reunite?...
Beatles fans have been sent into a frenzy over rumors Paul
McCartney and Ringo Starr are set to reunite on stage in an
historic performance.
To celebrate the city being named 2008's Capital of Culture,
the Fab Four's hometown of Liverpool is hosting the Sound City
music festival, where McCartney is set to take to the stage.
And after Liverpool City Council granted McCartney's production
company $3.5 million to stage the event, fans are now speculating
the singer is secretly planning a special gig - with his former
band mate Starr.
A source says, "There's been a lot of chat in Beatles fan chat-
rooms on the internet and the feeling is that it could happen."
The four-day festival takes place from May 27-30 at the Hard
Days Night Hotel and various other city venues.

Neil Diamond's Hall Of Fame Bid...
Neil Diamond is desperate to land a spot in the Rock and
Roll Hall Of Fame - because he thinks he has 'paid his dues'
to the music industry.
Neil is anxious to be awarded the prestigious recognition
which Madonna was inducted into in New York in March (08),
because he has been considered by the judges for nearly
20 years.
He is disappointed he is continually turned down by the panel,
even though he thinks he has made a very significant
contribution to the industry.
He says, "It makes me wonder. I've paid my dues, I think, and
I think I've done good work. I'd like to be in there with my
peers. "Maybe you just have to keep doing it and I'll get in
there some day."

is said to be extremely angry with his 14-year-old son - who's
allegedly been having sex with a 22-year-old woman! Willie
Thornton is the alleged victim of unlawful sex with the woman,

to light when the woman’s ex got jealous and told the police
she’d been having sex with a minor.

This 'Dawson's Creek' star loves showing off his vocal talents and
insists his membership of his university's a cappella choir is not
geeky.
It's James Van Der Beek... James, who played Dawson Leery in
the hit teen sitcom for more than five years, enjoyed the
musical past-time - which sees singers perform unaccompanied - in
the mid 1990s.
While studying at Drew University, in Madison, New Jersey, Van
der Beek performed in all-male a capella group 36 Madison Avenue
and insists his choir drew in larger audiences than his friends'
'cool' rock band.
He says, " I had some friends who played in actual bands, and
10 people would show up for their gigs.
"Meanwhile, we were singing for hundreds of fans."
