Here's the Scoop....
Well I'm back. I was supposed to be out of the office all
week for some business meetings in Ohio.
We were driving there and got as far as Indianapolis (about
two hours away) when we got a call that there was a medical
emergency with one of the people we were meeting with (he threw
his back out) and that we had to cancel.
I know there's not much that can be done, but it REALLY did
mess up things for me. My sister had stayed on an extra week
to be with my mom and help her.
So I'm hoping it can be rescheduled in a day or two but I
think it's doubtful.
I hope to find out today what is going on. If it's not going
to be rescheduled then I think it's time for my sister to
get back to Arizona and her family there.
We sure have enjoyed having her here.

Richie Sambora Facing DUI & Child Endangerment Charges
Richie Sambora could be charged with child endangerment
after being arrested for drunk-driving with his daughter
in the car.
The Bon Jovi guitarist was pulled over by police on March
25th in Laguna Beach, California, for driving under the
influence of alcohol after police observed his vehicle weaving
in traffic.
And as Ava, his ten-year-old daughter with ex-wife Heather
Locklear, was in the car, local officers are recommending
that Sambora face additional charges.
"We did ask for a misdemeanor child endangerment charge to
be filed against him," said Sergeant Jason Kravitz.
"We also recommended they charge him with misdemeanor DUI."
A spokeswoman for the Orange County district attorney's office
said the evidence was being reviewed before formal charges
were announced at the next scheduled court date.
With Sambora currently touring the with Bon Jovi, an arraignment
in the case has been set for May 7th.
His fate could depend on the height of his blood alcohol level
with a prison sentence, a compulsory rehabilitation order or a
spell in a child abuser's program possible outcomes in the case.
The March arrest caps a difficult year for Sambora, 48, who
entered a rehab facility in June 2007 for an undisclosed problem.
He and actress Denise Richards also split last year after dating
for more than 12 months and in the month that his divorce from
Locklear was finalized, his father died of lung cancer.

The New York Post is reporting that a 15-minute sex-reel starring
Marilyn Monroe not only exists, but was just sold to a New York
collector for $1.5M. It gets more bizarre: the NYC businessman
who now owns the footage bought it from the son of a dead FBI
informant.
"The gentleman who bought it said out of respect for Marilyn he's
not going to make a joke of it and put it on the Internet and try
to exploit her," Keya Morgan, the memorabilia man who brokered
the sale, told Reuters.
"He said, 'I'm not going to make a Paris Hilton out of her. I'm
not going to sell it, out of respect.' "
Well if the buyer's intentions are so altruistic, why let the
story out of the bag?
Especially with all the sordid details around it. The Post's
story says that J. Edgar Hoover spent weeks trying to show that
the man in the "still FBI-classified" footage was either JFK or
RFK. Seriously... do we really think this thing's going to stay
secret for much longer?

Pete Wentz Denies Ashlee Is Pregnant...
I know Jeanie reported that there are rumors that Ashlee
Simpson is pregnant, but Fall Out Boy rocker and Ashlee's
fiance Pete Wentz is emphatically denying it. Here's what he
had to say about it in an email sent to MTV News:
"There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they
get engaged in Hollywood," wrote Pete, 28. "This is all news
to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a
gay relationship and this is all just a cover. ... I mean
really, this is crazy. ... I mean we're engaged, that's true,
and happy about it."

Faith Hill has also stated she is not pregnant with her fourth
child. Faith and her singer husband of ten years, Tim McGraw,
were forced to deny the rumors at the 2008 CMT awards on Monday.
Faith sparked rumors by wearing a flowing black top to the
ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. A spokesman for Faith said she
"is not pregnant".

"selfish" than him?
It's Matthew McConaughey... Matthew, whose model girlfriend
Camila Alves is currently six months pregnant with their
first child, doesn't want his son or daughter to inherit
his self-centered nature.
He says, "Of all the aspects of my character my kid could
inherit, I hope it's not my tendency to be selfish. I can be
pretty selfish. That wouldn't be a good part of my personality
to have."
However, Matthew does hope to pass on his loyal nature.
He added: "I'm a pretty loyal guy, to my friends and to my
family and everyone close to me. I've had the same friends for
a long time now. I hope my kid gets that loyalty from me."
