KADEEM HARDISON
BIRTH DATE: July 24, 1965, New York, New York
CLAIM TO FAME: Kadeem is best known for his role as Dwayne
Wayne in the television series 'A Different World' which
was a spin-off of 'The Cosby Show.'
INFO: Kadeem got his start doing a small turn in the "The
Color of Friendship", a 1981 "ABC Afterschool Special", that
starred future director James Bond III. He made his motion
picture debut in Stan Lathan's adaptation of James Baldwin's
classic "Go Tell it on the Mountain" (1984).
FAMILY LIFE: Chanté Moore (1997 - 2000) (divorced) 1 child,
daughter, Sophia, born 1996.

TRIVIA: Was mentioned in the thank yous of 'A Different World'
co-star Cree Summer's 1999 debut album Street Faerie.
Son of Bethann Hardison, a former model who now has her own
modeling agency.
Is very famous in The Netherlands because of his character in
'A Different World.' The Dutch know exactly what you mean by
"Dwayne Wayne glasses" since everyone wanted them back in the 90s.
Was married to R&B singer Chanté Moore.
WHERE IS HE NOW: After 'A Different World' went off the air in
1993, Hardison concentrated on film work, with roles ranging
from the horror/comedy 'Vampire in Brooklyn' to the political
drama 'Panther.' He took another stab at series television on
the short-lived sitcom 'Between Brothers', and began adding
more TV guests spots to his resume.
He also want to do more directing after his successful stint
of both directing and producing, 'The Other 23 Hours.'

Kids' which is in post-production.
