Good Morning,
A belated Happy Mother's Day to all! I completely forgot to
wish everyone a happy Mother's Day on Friday, because quite
frankly, it slipped my mind. I hope it was a good one!
Mine was rather quiet, but nice. Flyboy is in Dallas for his
twice a year Captain test and checkride. Flypup and his wife
came over and took me out to lunch. Dizzy and his fiance gave
me a nice gift, and he was so proud that he picked it out all
by himself, which sometimes can lead to, how can I say this
delicately...a gift that leaves you scratching your head and
wondering if it's really April Fool's Day. They also joined us
for lunch...
Flyboy left me a card on my pillow before he left, actually...
two cards. I didn't see them until I went to bed and I cried
like a baby when I saw them. Nah, not because Flyboy's card
was gooey sweet and mushy, which it was, but the other card
that was with his. It appears he had bought the cards a few
weeks ago to prevent himself from forgetting, and like he has
done for years for every occassion, a card was there from...
Keno, Mystic, Moose and Ginger...
He had thought long and hard about giving it to me and decided
he should and I'm glad he did. I miss my Keno terribly and
although I know it will take time, I still look for him and
called his name the other day when I was handing out treats.
Talk about a knife jab in the heart when I realized what I had
done. I stare at the empty space where Mystic napped and at
times, visualize her there, then blink away the tears and see
the empty spot again...
Sighhhhhhhhhh, sorry folks, it's gonna take some time for me
to get back to "normal"...Not that I ever was normal...

Brown, or age spots on the skin are usually caused by hormonal

When applying a skin bleaching product, use a cotton swab
to dab the lightener on the dark spot. Do not apply beyond
the spot, only on the dark areas. Use the skin bleaching
products during the day to prevent your face from rubbing
on a pillow and migrating the fade cream or bleaching agent
onto areas that don't need bleaching. Look for a bleaching
agent that has an exfoliant right in it to speed up the
results. Look around and read labels to see if the bleaching
gel you are going to buy fits the bill. Again, be patient
when working on those spots, they didn't pop up overnight
and will take time to treat...A dermatoligist and sometimes
even a pharmacist can direct you to the best product to use
for fading dark spots...
In the event you have bleached your spots and realize the
skin around the dark areas have gotten bleached also, the
only thing you can do is wait it out. People with olive or
darker skin can have this problem more often that people
with fair to medium complexions. The skin surrounding
the areas you wanted to bleach will return back to its
natural shade anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
Make SURE you use a sunscreen on your face to prevent the
spots you wanted lightened from darkening again. Use a
concealer that matches your skin tone to blend the colors
while you are "getting back to normal."
