Good Morning,
Still trying to find a landscaper. My neighbor gave me a
card from his guy and I left a message for him to call.
Hopefully, he'll call back within the next millenium...
Flyboy and I decided we better do something back there so
the guy doesn't get scared away right off the bat after
the yard suffered under the "wrecking crew"...
We trimmed bushes, cleaned up leaves, flowers, branches,
and everything else that got pulverized by the "jaws of
death". Flyboy filled holes, covered tree roots, and raked
rocks out of what used to be grass. Notice I said, "used
to be"?
The area that had grass now looks like an area that is used
for rodeos. I won't mention the fact that Flyboy kept forgetting
to shut the sprinklers for the grass off and I won't mention
what water on dirt makes. Hopefully, we'll get that sodded
right away. The trick will be keeping them away long enough
for the sod to take root...
On another note, "the" appointment for Keno and Mystic has been
made and to show you how loved Keno is by everyone who knows him,
the vet tech who answered the phone, another vet tech, and one
of the vets refuse to be there the day he comes in and scheduled
a day off next Thursday...

Flying isn't as easy as it used to be with all of the
added stress of long lines, security, and delays. No matter
what mode of transportation you use when you travel on a trip,
there are some tips that can help you feel and look your freshest
and make going away a little less of an ordeal...I had to have
my purse searched coming home from Vegas for God knows what
reason. I smiled and told the security agent that it was fine
and dandy with me. I told her if she found any extra money on
the bottom of the purse I would be thrilled since the casino
wasn't too kind to me and Flyboy. She gave me a blank stare
like I had asked her the name of the 4th president of the U.S.
She worked slow unloading my purse, (any slower and it would have
been reverse). When she finished she told me in a voice that could
only be described as "comatose" that she would put everything back
the way it was and proceeded to slowlllllly put the contents back.
I offered my help and grabbed it all and threw it back in the purse.
There...NOW it was all back the way it was before the search!
If you're flying, a pressurized cabin can severly dry out the
skin on long flights. (Short flights too, but a little less
noticeable). Never underestimate the need and importance of
water during the flight. Internally and externally. Cut down
the amount of alcohol you might want to drink or the caffeine
during the flight and go for water instead...
If you can. spritz water on your face during your flight, by
either a spray spritzer bottle stored in your tote. Go into
the restroom and spritz your face a few times during your flight...
Keep makeup at a minimum for this reason. Use a moisturizer before
your leave the house to maintain a level of hydration...
To cut down on the puffiness your face may get during the flight,
lean forward in your seat when possible and rest your face in
your hands for a few minutes. This will provide a slight pressure
on the facial tissue which will help prevent puffiness...
