Good Morning,
By now, you're probably wondering how my poochies are doing
since I have been gone a month. As usual, the news is the
infamous good news/bad news deal...
All of the poochies are "fine" technically. Mystic has been
sulking and not eating very much, which she does when I'm gone.
She overeats when I'm home, so it's really not a bad thing for
her to lose a few pounds. Everyone at home agrees she is lost
without me... Sniff, sniff...
Keno is hanging in there, BUT showing a few behaviors that he
hasn't shown in the past. He has been very aggressive with
Coco, to the point of biting her and puncturing the skin,
causing some nasty wounds that had to be medically treated.
There are probably two reasons for this...
One...he's not feeling very good as time goes by and is less
patient, and...
Two...Coco just PESTERS the poor guy to death! She will not
get out of his face and wants to play, play, play!
And the last little "gem" that came over the phone line the
other night from my beloved Flyboy and it kinda went like
this...
Flyboy...Hiiiiiiiiiii honeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!
Me... Hiiiiiiiiiii Sweetcheeeeeeks!!!
Flyboy... I was wondering...How would you feel about replacing the
carpeting in the family room?
Me...UH-OH...
Flyboy...Yeah, well...You know how Keno goes into that OCD mode where
her scratches and scratches the carpet and you always stop him right
away?
Me...UH-OH
Flyboy...Well...I wasn't paying to much attention (HOW UNUSUAL), and he
really went nutzo and dug a little hole in the carpet...
Me...Sighhhhhhhhhhh, oh well, we can have the little hole repaired, I don't
think we have to replace it and besides, I love that carpet. (We had it
custom made when we built the house and had a tri-color border made around
the edges)...
Flyboy...Well, er, uh...the dang FUNNIEST thing happened the day after Keno
made that little hole. (BIG UH-OH). Ginger was walking by and looked at the
few loose rug loops and decided it would make a good chew toy and dang if
she didn't pull half of the carpet UP. And you know how good our new paper
shredder works? Ginger works even BETTER!!!
Me...Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, oh well honey, it couldn't be helped, I know you
were gone and couldn't watch everything when it happened. When did it happen
by the way?
Flyboy...Dead silence, followed by dead silence with gulping...Guess that
"noise" I heard when I was taking a nap was the sound of carpet removal
and the carpet fibers on Ginger's nose when she jumped into bed was
the evidence huh?
Good thing we don't have video phones...

Eyeliner can make even the smallest eyes appear larger. Applying
it correctly is key, you don't want the line to be too dark, harsh
and obvious or you risk looking overdone. Here are some tips to
help you out...
The key to the basic eye is to apply with a light hand. opt for a
lighter shade than kohl or black, unless you need a dramatic look
for evening. The basic eye is all about appearing natural...
Holding the skin of your upper lid taut, apply eyeliner from the
outside corner of the eye, stopping two-thirds of the way along
the eyelid. Apply with short strokes, drawing the line into the
lash line rather than above it. For a more dramatic look, make
the outside line a bit thicker than the inside...
Set liner with a deep eyeshadow. Dip eyeshadow brush into the shadow,
then apply shadow over the eyeliner. This will set the eyeliner, which
tends to rub off on eyelid...

Apply eyeshadow to lower lashes. Using your eyeshadow brush, apply
the deep-hued eyeshadow along the bottom lashes, from the outside in.
Unless you have wide-set eyes, don't line the entire lower lid. Instead,
stop halfway across. For a more natural look, don't dip the brush into the
shadow again, instead, use the excess that's still on the brush for the
lower lashes...
Clean up any mistakes with a cotton swab...
To make eyes appear wider, trace the inner rims of eyes with a white
pencil...
Also...the cheapie sponge applicators are "ok", but for better application
and a flawless look, makeup brushes are a better bet...
