Good Morning,
Two words...David Cook! For those who don't know who I'm talking
about, he's "my boy" on American Idol. He's been a favorite of
mine since this season's show started and he amazes me each
and every week. It's nice to have so much talent this year and
who doesn't love little David Archuletta?
I'm not a fan of three of the contestants. Kristy Lee Cook,
Syesha, and Carly. Not that they can't sing, because Carly
certainly has a set of pipes, it's just my own personal
preferences, or lack of when it comes to these three...
I know I always predict who is going to go home and if I
was in Arizona, I would still do so, however, since I'm
in Chicago and the show has already aired and I know who
got "the boot", I'll have to wait until I get back to
Arizona to make my predictions...
Right now, I'm busy trying to predict when I will be able to
go home. I'm hoping it will be soon, not because I'm in a
hurry to go home, more like I want to see my mom's eyesight
come back as soon as possible...

Panty hose or tights may not need a lot of care, but there
are some tips to make them last a little longer...
Most people know that a little clear nail polish on a run
in the stockings will stop the run from spreading, hairspray
will do the same trick...
Hairspray will also help reinforce the toe area if you have
a problem with your toes popping through the toe area. After
washing your stockings or tights, spray the toe area with
hairpsray and let dry...
Putting panty hose in the freezer will give them a longer
life...Oh yeah...Defrost before wearing... :-)

If you have long nails and are always ripping your stockings
while you are putting them on, keep a pair of rubber gloves in
your draw and put them on before putting your stockings on.
Make sure you powder the gloves so that they are easy to take
on and off. Dishwashing gloves are great for this tip...
Washing the stockings should be done by hand to lengthen the
life of them. You can use a bar of soap or a detergent that
isn't too strong. Air dry always.
If you're the type that likes to wash your stockings and hang
them outside to dry, but hate when the wind wraps them up in
a knot, put a spoon in each leg while they're drying. The spoons
will keep the legs straight as they dry...
