Today's Topic: G-Spot Orgasm from Manual Stimulation

I feel like this is a somewhat stupid question, but how can
you orgasm from the g-spot, by doing it yourself? In other
words, can you manually have an orgasm of the g-spot? Thanks
[The following is a response from a reader:]
Hey Carmen,
Love the e-zine! Keep up the great work. Here are 2 sure fire
ways I can reach my g-spot on a solo run...the first is of
course with a toy. I have a dildo that is about the same
thickness as my man, but a bit longer, so I can hold it easily.
Inserted, and press the "handle" part down, toward my butt...
puts the tip right at my g-spot...gets it every time.
The 2nd way is sans toy...I usually start with clitoral stimu-
lation, but if you're turned on enough, it's not necessary...
for me, if I press firmly on my abdomen, with like 2-3 fingers
and kind of rub about 2-3 inches below my belly button, that's
the spot. The 2nd way also works while he's giving oral, or
along w/the first way to make it an even stronger g-spot orgasm.

First, a couple of comments about the above response. There
are indeed several dildos on the market that specifically
target the G-spot. Do your homework because they hit the spot,
or so I've heard... :) The reader mentioned that you might
want to begin with clitoral stimulation, but that in some
cases you might already be aroused enough. This is very true.
The more foreplay you have, the G-spot will also engorge,
especially with direct stimulation. You might not need
clitoral stimulation before jumping into this. In fact, when
a woman is extremely aroused, the G-spot can engorge to over
the size of a dime up to a quarter.
A woman can try to stimulate the G-spot on her own or with
her partner. It's in the anterior wall of the vagina, and I
know some people don't want to hear this, but you'll know when
you feel it. It's grainy and spongy and really can't be mis-
taken for something else in the vagina. Back to exploration...
If with a partner, the woman may want to lie on her stomach.
Either way, two fingers should be used in a "J" shape to press
deeply but gently into the front part of the vaginal wall. The
G-spot may feel like a small lump.
P.S. When the G-spot is stimulated to orgasm, women sometimes
ejaculte a white, milky substance from their urethra. Do not
be alarmed! You have not just wet the bed! It's a natural

Another side note: because of the G-spot's proximity to the
urethra, many women report the sensation of needing to
urinate when stimulated there. Again, this is more than
