BIRTH NAME: Lisa Michelle Boney 

CLAIM TO FAME: She is best known for portraying the character 
Denise Huxtable on 'The Cosby Show' and its spinoff 'A 
Different World'.

FAMILY LIFE: Lenny Kravitz (November 1987 - April 1993) 
(divorced) 1 child Daughter, Zöe Kravitz , born 1 December 1988 .

Two children in all. One with Kravitz. The other, daughter, 
Lola Iolani Momoa, with boyfriend Jason Momoa of 'Stargate 

Ex-daughter-in-law (from marriage to Lenny Kravitz) to the 
late Roxie Roker (The Jeffersons).

INFO: Lisa began taking acting lessons at age 13 and guest-
starred in an episode of "St. Elsewhere". She soon landed a 
recurring role on the CBS sitcom "The Two of Us" which led

TRIVIA: Lisa shed her 'Girl next Door' image with the role of 
Epiphany Proudfoot in the movie Angel Heart opposite Mickey 
Rourke, directed by Alan Parker. Her appearance caused 
controversy and some scenes had to be cut to avoid an X rating. 
The backlash from making the movie is rumored to have prompted 
Lisa's exit from "The Cosby Show". But with Bill Cosby's help, 
Lisa landed on another comedy series, "A Different World" 

Followed 'Angel Heart' up image by posing suggestively on the 
May 19, 1988 issue of "Rolling Stone" magazine.

Lisa is the child of a Jewish mother and a black father

Is a vegetarian.

1991 Directed music video, "Whatever It Takes" for Gardner Cole 

Had her name legally changed to Lilakoi Moon in 1995.

Met Lenny Kravitz at a New Edition concert in Los Angeles. At 
the time, Lenny was a struggling, unknown musician who went 
by the name Romeo Blue.

A hip-hop album dedicated to Lisa Bonet called Felt, Vol. 2: 
Tribute to Lisa Bonet was created by Slug (from Atmosphere) 
and MURS and produced by Ant (also from Atmosphere) and was 
released on July 12, 2005

WHERE IS SHE NOW: Lisa has said that she has deliberately cut 
back on acting so that she could spend more time with her 
family. However, she did make a brief return to the spotlight 
in 1998 by co-starring with Will Smith in the big-budget hit 
movie 'Enemy Of The State (1993), and had an important role 
in High Fidelity (2000). 

Lisa has since become friends with her ex-husband Lenny again. 

In 2003 her film appearance in 'Biker Boyz' reunited her 
with former co-star Kadeem Hardison of 'A Different World'.

In August 2006, Bonet appeared in a week-long 'A Different 
World' reunion special that aired on Nick at Nite, along with 
fellow co-stars Hardison, Jasmine Guy, Cree Summer, Dawnn 
Lewis, Darryl M. Bell, and Sinbad. Bonet co-starred in the 
2006 film 'Whitepaddy', alongside Sherilyn Fenn, Hill Harper, 
Debra Wilson, Karen Black, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. 

Next up Lisa is in negotiations to appear in the 2009 Coen 
brothers film 'Gambit', also starring Jennifer Aniston,
 Colin Firth, and Ben Kingsley

Lisa currently lives in the Los Angeles area with her children.
