Rob Lowe's Lawyer: Sexual Harassment Claims Are Outrageous...
Legal representatives of actor Rob Lowe have dismissed sexual
harassment claims made by his former nanny as "outrageous"
and "untrue".
Jessica Gibson has filed a lawsuit in Santa Barbara, California,
claiming Lowe had touched her inappropriately on several occasions
between September 2005 and January 2008.
The 24-year-old nanny, who worked for Lowe and his wife Sheryl on
and off over a seven-year period, claims in an 18-page document
that Lowe "placed his hand inside Gibson's pants in order to touch
her crotch" and "grabbed Gibson's buttocks without consent" on a
number of occasions.
Lowe, sued Gibson last week, claiming the nanny had demanded that
unless the actor and his wife pay her $1.5 million by April 11th,
she would go public with the sexual harassment allegations.
He called Gibson's claims "an attempt to damage and humiliate not
only my wife and me, but our two young sons as well".
Current and former members of staff of Lowe have also come to his
defense, with his former estate manager Carol Andrade saying Gibson
"never told me .. that Rob ever said or did anything that she found
inappropriate or offensive or that made her feel uncomfortable...
or made sexual advances toward her."
Ms Andrade, who supervised the Lowe family's staff over the last
18 months, said Gibson had quit her position on two occasions due
to being "burned out" but had returned "on good terms".

Prosecutors Recommend 3 Years In Jail For Wesley Snipes...
Prosecutors have recommended that Wesley Snipes be sentenced
to three years in prison.
They also called for him to be fined $5 million after he was
convicted in February for failing to submit tax returns.
Attorney Robert O'Neill called for Snipes to be handed the
maximum penalty, after a "brazen defiance" of tax laws.
"This case cries out for the statutory maximum term of imprison-
ment, as well as a substantial fine, because of the seriousness
of defendant Snipes' crimes and because of the singular opportunity
this case presents to deter tax crime nationwide," Mr O'Neil said.
Snipes and two others had originally been charged with six counts
of failing to submit tax returns as well as two charges of
fraudulently claiming tax refunds and conspiracy to defraud
the government.

Debbie Gibson Files For Restraining Order...
80's teen singing sensation Debbie Gibson has filed for
a restraining order against a Spanish man who allegedly
followed her on concert tours.
Debbie claims Bassas Jorge Puigdollers, 44, has attended
all of her "nationwide performances" since 2002, where he
often tries to go backstage to see her and get autographs.
He also follows her to her hotel room, according to court papers.
She has asked a U.S. Superior Court to enforce a rule that he
must stay 100 yards away, not attempt to contact her by phone
or e-mail, and stop attending her concerts.
Puigdollers insists he meant no harm. He says, "I wanted to
use the fan club to help people who can't go see her to get
autographs and photos.
"I understand that she wants her privacy. I would like to say
I'm sorry. I don't want problems and I don't want to bother
her so much."
The Police Department granted Gibson an emergency protective
order that expires this Friday, according to her court papers.
The emergency order allows Puigdollers to get within 10 yards
of Gibson at her concerts, but he still must stay at least 100
yards from her home.

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-
The actress who was taken aback when her husband threw a surprise
board game-themed birthday party?
It's Eva Longoria Parker... Eva was planning to spend a quiet
33rd birthday with her basketball star husband Tony Parker in
Texas, where he plays and the couple has a new home.
But when her plane landed in the Lone Star state, Longoria was
amazed to be greeted at the airport by actors dressed up as
characters from the popular game Clue.
Tony then whisked Eva and her friends to a nearly "castle" to
play out a live version of the murder mystery game.
Eva explains, "He did a huge surprise for me. One of our favorite
games is Clue... So when I flew into San Antonio he had all the
Clue characters - real people, actors from L.A. that do this - and
it was Mrs. Scarlett, Colonel Mustard...
"It was real people and you play a game at the castle and you
figure out the murder with the real people.
"It was so fun, he surprised me. He flew all my friends in from
L.A. and I had no idea, I had no clue."
