could stretch his bottom lip up to his eyebrows.

It's so odd I just have to share it with you, I can't help
myself, so here you go:

WEBMASTER TIP - No Cache

Note: In code examples I add a period after each left arrow
bracket so the code can be viewed in all e-mail programs. If
you copy and paste, be sure to remove the periods or it won't
work.

Question: I have a web page I update every day, sometimes
several times a day depending on what's happening. How can I
keep people from viewing a cached page instead of the latest
content?

Simon Says: Add this:

<.meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache">

...to the HEAD section of your page. The only drawback is
that if it's a slow loading page because of heavy graphics,
it will be slow loading every time because the browser won't
be able to grab the graphics from cache, it will have to
download them anew every time.

THE ODDBALL WALL - Waffles and Movies

On this day in 1869, the waffle iron was invented. I tried a
waffle iron once but it left all my clothing pock-marked.
It's hard to make a trivia quiz about waffle irons, but on
this day in 1891, Thomas Edison patented the motion picture
camera. Making a trivia quiz about motion pictures is much
better, so here we go...

Weaver's recurring role?

8) In the low-budget movie, Reggie's Prayer, the cast
featured a large ensemble of current and former NFL players
and coaches such as Brett Favre, Mike Holmgren, Willie Roaf,
Keith Jackson, Gayle Sayers, Bryce Paup, and of course,
Reggie White. What role did Reggie White play?
a. Reggie Knox b. Reggie Cobb c. Reggie White

And now for a question sure to pass your screen test...

9) What 2006 movie stars Martin Sheen, Mel Gibson, Ed Begley
Jr., Tom Hanks, and Phyllis Diller? Hint: it's a documentary.

COMPUTER TIPS - Change Scrollbar Width

There are a variety of reasons a person might want to change
the width of the scroll bars in the software applications.
If you have a reason or need for that, I've got the how-to
for you.

In Windows 98:

1) Right-click the desktop.
2) Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
3) Click the Appearance tab.
4) Under Item, select Scrollbar.
5) Adjust the Size using the up or down arrow.
6) Watch your change in the preview and click OK when you
have it like you want.

In Windows XP:

1) Right-click the desktop.
2) Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
3) Click the Appearance tab.
4) Click the Advanced button.
5) Under Item, select Scrollbar.
6) Adjust the Size using the up or down arrow.
7) Watch your change in the preview and click OK when you
have it like you want.
8) This returns you to the Display Properties. Click Apply.

It may take a few seconds for your computer to update the
settings. When it's finished you can close the Display
Properties dialog and your computer will be sporting newly
remodeled scrollbars. Wahoo!
