Here's the Scoop....
My mom is getting better every day. I have to say I am so
appreciative of my sister. She has decided to stay on for
another couple of weeks because I have to go out of town
next week.
Plus, my sister has a wonderful sense of humor and she keeps
my mom laughing... and let's face it the best cure for any-
thing is laughter!
And the last thing is... I am ENJOYING all her cooking. I
never Jamie was such a fantastic cook!
My mom has gained five pounds.

Jay-Z & Beyonce's Married...
After years of speculation, singer Beyonce Knowles wed her
longtime boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, on Friday.
Though there is no official confirmation but word is the
nuptials happened early this evening. Jay-Z wanted it to
be a really private affair...close friends and family.
The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper's
Tribeca apartment that drew Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles, her
father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child
mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's
friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
A couple since 2002, Jay-Z, 38, and Knowles, 26, always kept
quiet about their relationship, even as they were photographed
together on romantic holidays around the world.
Still, marriage seemed to be in the cards -- eventually. "I never
pictured myself as a bride," she told Cosmopolitan in January
2006, "but after my sister's wedding, I did start thinking about
what kind of wedding I'd want. I don't think I want a big one.
Word is that Beyonce might join Jay-Z for a duet on Thursday
night when her his tour hits Houston. We'll see.

George Clooney Calls Police Over Threats...
George Clooney has instigated a police investigation after a
mysterious caller reportedly warned him to break up with
his girlfriend Sarah Larson.
The star received a voicemail from an unknown number urging him
to end his relationship with Larson. A calm male voice is heard
to say, "Dude, your friends asked me to give you a message: Dump
the bitch before you're sorry!"
George is convinced the message is not a joke perpetrated by one
of his friends and has asked police to investigate the matter.
He said, "It's not a prank - none of my friends would do that."
And Larson insists the threat may stem from untrue reports in
the media about her background.
She adds, "They say that I'm a stripper. There's a ton of stuff
about that. I've never been a stripper. You know, just because
I'm from Las Vegas, I must be a stripper. Because I'm a cocktail
server, that means I'm an escort."
The two met at the 'Ocean's Thirteen' premiere party at Las Vegas'
Palms Hotel, where Sarah was working. They will celebrate their
one-year anniversary in June of this year.

Anne Hathaway's Boyfriend Arrested in New York
Anne Hathaway's boyfriend of the past four years, Italian
property developer Raffaelo Follieri, was arrested
Thursday and charged with trying to pass a bad check, NYPD
spokesman Det. Martin Speechley says.
Word is the check was for around $250,000.
Follieri was recently ordered by a Washington, D.C., court
to pay a public-relations firm $250,000 for work done on his
behalf.
This isn't Follieri's first run of bad press. Last year, the
Wall Street Journal reported on billionaire Ron Burkle's
lawsuit against Follieri for allegedly squandering $1.3 million
in business funds to support his extremely lavish lifestyle.
Follieri denied any wrongdoing.
Earlier this year, Anne, 25, and Follieri, 29, were seen
together at New York's hip hangout, the Waverly Inn. In
February 2007, Hathaway told London's Sunday Times that
Follieri was a positive influence who helped bring her out of
a lengthy depression.
"He's brought out so many positive attributes," she said.
"Before I met him, I wasted so much time. I was just annoying
and narcissistic and smelled bad. He's protective without being
possessive, passionate without needing to show his temper."

George Lucas To Sue Star Wars Designer...
Filmmaker George Lucas is suing a British designer who created
the costumes for his Star Wars films.
Andrew Ainsworth designed the storm-trooper helmets and was
paid $70 each for 50 helmets made for the 1977 film.
But he says he owns the merchandising rights and is entitled to
a multi-million dollar pay off.
In 2004 he sold copies of the outfits for about $3500 each but
was stopped by Lucas who claims he owns the copyright.
But Ainsworth has hit back claiming the copyright has expired
because the uniforms were industrial design, not art.
The U.S. court case is expected to last 10 days.

musical movie Moulin Rouge?
It's Liv Tyler... Liv, daughter of Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler,
was brought up in a musical household - but admits she has always
been shy about showcasing her own vocal talent.
And the 30-year-old hoped the 2001 movie would be the perfect
opportunity to debut her voice - but lost out on the lead role to
Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman.
She says, "I sat on a piano and sang Big Spender, but I didn't get
the role. When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a singer,
but never pursued it. My mom was a singer in a band, as was my dad
and my step dad Todd - I loved watching them perform.
"I can sing, but I don't know how good I am."
