Here's the Scoop....
It's official... my sister is on her way home. By the time
you read this, she's probably already home.
I can't thank her enough for all her help. She really went
above and beyond.
I only imagined her here a couple of weeks and it turned out
to be a month!
My mom really enjoyed having her here. It helped her both
physically and mentally.
We're thinking by the end of next week my mom might have
enough vision back that she can be on her own for the day.
I plan on working from home and occasionally dragging my mom
to the office for a couple of hours. I think it will do her
good to have a little more social interaction.
Many, many thanks for all the emails, thoughts and prayers.
I think they're paying off!

'Prison Break' Star's "Friend" Comes Out...
Luke McFarlane, the 'Brothers And Sisters' actor who plays
gay Scotty on-screen, has revealed he is gay in an interview.
He told a newspaper that he had decided to speak out about
his sexuality. "I don’t know what will happen professionally,"
MacFarlane said. "That is the fear, but I guess I can’t
really be concerned about what will happen, because it’s my
truth. There is this desire in LA to wonder who you are and
what’s been blaring for me for the last three years is how
can I be most authentic to myself - so this is the first time
I am speaking about it in this way."
All of which fans the flames about 'Prison Break' star
Wentworth Miller. Wentworth has always denied being gay, but
has been photographed with Luke all the time.

Jennie Garth To Return To 90210?...
Jennie Garth has fuelled speculation she's returning to
'Beverly Hills, 90210' ... the remake of the series that
is... after abruptly quitting TV series 'My Best Friend's Girl.'
Jennie was slated to star in the pilot for the comedy, but
has walked away from the project. She has been replaced
by Kristin Booth.
The Hollywood Reporter claims Jennie's old 'Beverly Hills,
90210' character Kelly Taylor could return to the TV remake
to play a teacher.

Maura Tierney Wants Abby Killed Off on 'ER'...
If Maura Tierney had her way, Abby Lockhart will be dead by
the time 'ER' ends next year.
"I want them to kill me," she says. "And they won't. They
refused to kill Abby."
It's easy to see why. Since Maura joined the show eight years
ago, she's grown into a fan favorite and the medical drama's
default female lead, working with dramatic story lines that saw
her go from nurse to doctor, deal with alcoholism and romancing
Noah Wyle and Goran Visnjic.
But after nearly 10 years, the 43-year-old, who earned an Emmy
nomination in 2001 for her work, is ready to check out of the
'ER' for good.
"I've been on the show for a long time," she says. "I had a
really great time there, but it's been almost a decade, and
part of me is ready to move on, but part of me is going to
be very sad about it."

Eddie Murphy's New Love...
Rumors are that Eddie Murphy is secretly dating waitress Lara
LaRue.
Eddie, who split from producer Tracey Edmonds in January shortly
after their unofficial wedding ceremony, has been romancing the
25-year-old beauty since they met while bowling in March.
A friend of the 47-year-old actor said: "Eddie is really happy.
He is already telling his friends that he is in love. He's been
sending Lara huge floral arrangements practically every day and
is talking about moving in together."
Lara, who's sister is Eva LaRue of 'CSI: Miami', says, "I know
Eddie. He's an amazing guy. I respect him and he respects me."
Lara currently works at Los Angeles restaurant Sushiya on Sunset
Boulevard, but also works as a model.

It's Johnny Depp.... Johnny shot to fame when he landed the title
role in Tim Burton's 1991 cult movie 'Edward Scissorhands', but
insists producers were determined to cast A-list actor Cruise in
the role.
Johnny admits he desperately wanted the job - but he was only
hired after the team began to question Cruise's suitability for
such an edgy project.
He says, "They (movie bosses) were interested in me for the part,
but had someone else in mind too. A few days later, they called me
to say the studio preferred the other actor.
"(It was) Tom Cruise. I was really disappointed. From the moment
I read the script, I knew I had to be in it. But I understood that
the studio wanted a box office superstar... "Then a miracle
happened. My agent called to say they wanted me instead."
