   Bob Dylan's Tell Tale Signs Compilation Due Oct. 7

Several unreleased songs, demos and concert recordings 
are part of Bob Dylan's Tell Tale Signs, a CD compila-
tion spanning his work from 1989 through 2006. The 
eighth installment of Dylan's Bootleg Series, it will 
be released in different editions on Oct. 7 by Columbia 
Records/Legacy Recordings. The collection includes un-
released recordings from Dylan's Time Out of Mind, 
Modern Times and Oh Mercy albums and other tracks 
created for the motion picture soundtracks of Lucky 
You, Gods & Generals and North Country. The compilation 
will be released in a two-CD version featuring a booklet 
of rare photos, liner notes and recording credits. A 
limited-edition three-CD package includes a 12-track 
bonus disc and a hardcover book of artwork of singles 
Dylan has released throughout his career. The collection 
will also be released as a limited-edition four-LP set, 
pressed on 180-gram vinyl and including all of the 
elements of the two-CD set.

Del McCoury, Kathy Mattea to Announce IBMA Nominations

Del McCoury and Kathy Mattea will announce the final 
nominees for the 19th annual International Bluegrass 
Music Awards during an Aug. 14 press conference at 
the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. 
This year's IBMA Hall of Fame inductees and Dis-
tinguished Achievement Award honorees will also be 
announced. The awards show takes place Oct. 2 at 
Nashville's Ryman Auditorium as a prelude to the IBMA's 
Bluegrass Fan Fest scheduled for October 3-5 at the 
Nashville Convention Center. The Fan Fest concerts will 
feature Mattea, Vince Gill and Michael Martin Murphey, 
along with some of the top bluegrass acts, Doyle Lawson 
& Quicksilver, the Dan Tyminski Band, Tony Trischka, 
Cherryholmes, Jesse McReynolds and J.D. Crowe.
