Toby Keith Begins Media Blitz for Beer for My Horses
Toby Keith is in New York City this week for a string
of media appearances promoting his second major feature
film, Beer for My Horses, which premieres Aug. 8. On
Monday (July 28), Keith makes his third appearance on
The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Tuesday's schedule
includes several syndicated and satellite radio inter-
views and an appearance on Glenn Beck's CNN talk show.
He performs Wednesday on The Early Show on CBS and will
also appear on Fox & Friends before doing another round
of radio interviews. He performs Thursday on The View
before a series of concerts in St. Louis, Chicago,
Indianapolis and Pittsburgh. Keith then heads to the
West Coast to tape an appearance on The Late Late Show
With Craig Ferguson to air Aug. 8. While in the Los
Angeles area, he will perform on The Tonight Show With
Jay Leno on Aug. 5.

Kenny Chesney Confirmed for Farm Aid
Kenny Chesney will perform at this year's Farm Aid
concert taking place Sept. 20 in Mansfield, Mass.,
near Boston, organizers announced Monday (July 28).
Chesney is the first musical guest announced for the
charity show featuring Farm Aid board members Willie
Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews.
Noting that "American family farmers are what this
country is built on," Chesney added, "Growing up in
a small town outside Knoxville, Tenn., it was a big
part of who we were -- and it's something we as a
country shouldn't lose. If I can help be part of that
-- whether it's raising money or awareness or just
letting those family farmers know someone knows and
cares -- well, that's why I'm coming to New England."
Tickets went on sale Monday through Ticketmaster.
