Greetings,

Because we've been constantly under the threat of snow,
and also because the temperature has been below freezing
for so many days, I have not washed my car in about two
weeks. Now I'm afraid to wash it for fear that all the
paint is going to come off with the salt and dirt. That
and I don't want all the doors and windows frozen shut.
The last time I did that it took me 45 minutes with a hair
dryer to get into the car.

Cox and Pitt Call Truce

Jennifer Aniston's best friend Courteney Cox and her ex-
husband Brad Pitt seemed to have called a truce after
speaking at the Golden Globe Awards. Courteney and her
husband David Arquette were close friends with the former
couple and David spoke about Brad on the Howard Stern
radio show last week. David said, "When the marriage ended,
it was sad. I love Brad, he's a great guy. He did some
stuff that hurt our friend, but you know..." Courteney and
David approached Brad on a balcony designated for smokers
at the awards show and Brad responded by giving Courteney
a bear hug and saying, "Hello, sweetheart. It is so great
to see you!" The group chatted about their children, with
Brad quipping, "We did 'Finding Nemo', but they've been
off that for a while. We have a five-year-old!"

Angelina, who was standing a few steps away, eventually
came over and said an awkward hello, before leading Brad
back to the party.

"No," the Jewish girl replies, "That's Hannukah."

The Catholic girl then asks the Jewish girl, "Is that
when you eat unleavened bread?"

"No," the Jewish girl replies, "That's Passover. Rosh

CLEAN LAFFS:

A man learned shortly before quitting time that he had to
attend a meeting. He tried unsuccessfully to locate his
car-pool members to let them know that he would not be
leaving with them.

Hastily he scribbled a message to one fellow and left it
on his desk: "I have a last-minute meeting. Leave without
me. Dave."

At 7:00 p.m., the man stopped at his desk and found this
note: "Meet us at the bar and grill across the street. You
drove, you idiot."
