Peter Frampton
Announces Musicians Hall of Fame Inductees
Peter Frampton will announce the newest inductees into
the Musicians Hall of Fame during a July 1 press con-
ference in Nashville. Frampton, a former Nashville
resident, performed at the 2007 ceremony honoring the
first round of inductees -- the Nashville A-Team, the
Blue Moon Boys (Elvis Presley's original band), the
Funk Brothers (from Detroit), the Memphis Boys, the
Tennessee Two (Johnny Cash's original band) and the
Wrecking Crew (from Los Angeles). This year's induction
ceremony and concert will take place Oct. 28 at the
Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. The Musicians
Hall of Fame and Museum is located in downtown Nashville.

Travis Tritt, Marty Stuart Reunite for Fall Tour
Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart will reunite this fall
for a coast-to-coast acoustic tour. Recording and
touring together in the early '90s, the duo scored
two Top 10 hits -- "This One's Gonna Hurt You (For a
Long, Long Time)" and the Grammy-winning "The Whiskey
Ain't Workin'." They also won a CMA award for vocal
event of the year for their 1996 single, "Honky Tonkin's
What I Do Best." Tritt and Stuart reunited in March for
a performance at the Savannah Music Festival in Savannah,
Ga. With eight dates announced, their tour is currently
scheduled to kick off Nov. 1 in Temecula, Calif., and
end Nov. 21 in Wilmington, Del. Additional tour dates
will be added in the coming months.
