Here's the Scoop....
Many thanks to Jeanie for covering for me again.
My mom is doing much better as far as her eye healing and the pain is almost all gone.
Her vision is still not back and the doctor says we have to be patient. It will be the last thing to return. She did see one more letter below the big E on the eye chart so that was a little encouraging.
Now for the nooz... I got a bunch of emails asking about Jericho. I too was bummed when I read it was being cancelled... again!
I admit it started out slow when it came back, but the last few episodes have been great.
The question I got most was do I think it can, once again, be brought back from cancellation.
Sorry to say, no... at least not on CBS. But I have heard rumors that maybe it would pop up on another network or cable.
Let's hope!
Best, Anisa

Heather MILLS INSPIRES ONLINE WATER-THROWING GAME
Heather Mills' water attack on estranged husband Paul McCartney's lawyer has inspired a new Internet game... called Mucca Chucka. The incident occurred when Mills vented her anger at attorney Fiona Shackleton by throwing a jug of water over her head shortly after a London High Court judge awarded her $48.6 million in her divorce settlement with the former Beatle.
Shackleton was photographed leaving court with soggy hair, having entered the building earlier in the day sporting a dry, bouffant style. And now, the infamous altercation has been immortalized in Mucca Chucka, which requires gamers to throw glasses of water at the heads of Shackleton and McCartney when their heads pop up on screen. The more wet they get, the more money Mills makes.
Meanwhile, Mills has confirmed reports of the water-throwing incident are accurate: "I poured the whole jug of water on her head. I was very calm."

Justin Timberlake Gives Back To Hometown...
Justin Timberlake made two separate donations of $100,000 to the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum and the Memphis Music Foundation last week in an effort to further music education.
"Music education and keeping the legacy of Memphis Music alive has always been important to me," Justin says. "That is why I will always continue to support my hometown the same way they have always supported me."
The 27-year-old, who was raised in the Memphis suburb of Millington, is currently back home filming his next big-screen venture 'The Open Road' and presented the large checks to the organizations himself last week.
"He has never stopped giving back to the community, to the local music industry, and to young people," Rock 'n' Soul executive director John Doyle says. "The museum is honored by his generosity, honored by his recognition of the museum's message and honored that he is from Memphis."

Smashing Pumpkins Sue Record Label...
Smashing Pumpkins are suing their record label for illegally using their name and music in promotional deals. The band claim Virgin Records' use of their name and image in a Pepsi Stuff promotion has damaged the band's credibility with fans. In a lawsuit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, the rockers say they have "worked hard for over two decades to accumulate a considerable amount of goodwill in the eyes of the public" and the ads threaten their reputation for "artistic integrity". Virgin put out Smashing Pumpkins' music for more than 17 years, but the only active agreement between the two parties, the lawsuit claimed, is a deal granting Virgin permission to sell digital downloads of the band's songs. The agreement does not give Virgin the right to use the band in promotional campaigns to sell outside products, the lawsuit said.
The band members - who said they would "never grant such authority to Virgin, or any other entity" - have demanded that Virgin pay compensation with the profits that were earned in the promotion. They have also asked for an injunction against the label using the band's name or music in the future.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber was devastated after which actress snubbed a starring role in his hit musical adaptation of The Sound of Music?
It's Scarlett Johansson... Webber fell for Scarlett's vocal talents after he spent hours on the roof of an exclusive Los Angeles hotel practicing show tunes with her. And he was eager for her to take the lead role of Maria in the musical... insisting Johansson is a "natural star" for the stage.
However, Scarlett had to decline the part due to her busy movie- making schedule. The musical mogul said, "She certainly has the voice to do it. She's terrific, a natural star for musicals."
