Here's the Scoop....
Hey many thanks to all of you for your well wishes and prayers
for my mom.
She's still in a great deal of pain and as it stands she needs
to go back to the doctor every two days because the infection
is very serious.
I'm going to wait until this weekend to see if she has any
vision back before calling in my sister from Arizona. I just
need to get into the office for a couple of days.
I know my sister is pretty busy right now too, but she said
she could come in for a couple of days if needed.
Best,
Anisa

Paul Newman Health In Question...
Paul Newman's failure to attend a fundraising event for his
beloved children's charity over alleged "back problems" has
sparked fears for his health. The 83-year-old was expected to
make an appearance at an event to raise funds for his Hole In
The Wall Gang Camps - the residential summer camp for seriously
ill children he co-founded in 1988 - on Monday. But Paul failed
to attend the event, and instead greeted partygoers through a
pre-recorded video message. Newman has also been forced to cancel
a planned appearance on U.S. TV chat show the Late Show With
David Letterman. In January there were rumors that Paul was
battling cancer and had undergone emergency surgery. However,
Newman's representative Warren Cowan dismissed the allegations
at the time, claiming the star was in hospital "being treated for
athlete's foot and hair loss". In a newly released statement, he
explains, "He's (Newman) having back problems. He has to stay off
his feet for a couple of weeks."

Final 'Potter' Movie To Be Split In Two...
Moviemakers have confirmed the 'Harry Potter And The Deathly
Hollows' adaptation will be split into two separate full-length
films... a decision approved by author J.K. Rowling. Director
David Yates, who helmed the fifth and six movies in the boy wizard
franchise, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' and 'Harry
Potter and the Half-Blood Prince', has signed up to make 'Harry
Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I, and Part II'.
Star Daniel Radcliffe insists the decision to split the final
Potter book was unavoidable. He says, "I think it's the only way
you can do it without cutting out a huge portion of the book.
There have been compartmentalized subplots in the other books
that have made them easier to cut - although those cuts were still
to the horror of some fans - but the seventh book doesn't really
have any subplots. It's one driving, pounding story from the word
go." However, producer David Heyman has denied reports the book is
being split to make the Potter franchise more money. He says, "I
swear to you it was born out of purely creative reasons. Unlike
every other book, you cannot remove elements of this book."
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has given the decision her blessing.
Heyman adds, "I went to Jo, and she was cool with it and that was
quite a relief." The seventh Potter film will be released in November
2010, with the eighth and final installment slated for May 2011.

'ER' Bosses Hoping For Clooney Return For Final Season...
The executive producers of 'ER' are hoping to tempt George
Clooney and other former cast members back for the show's
final season.
After 15 years of the medical drama, the Chicago-set show is
nearing its climax and has the Hollywood writers' strike to
thank for being given one final fling.
According to reports, the show was renewed by NBC after the
Writers' Guild of America's (WGA) industrial action prevented
the development of any new series.
And as they plan to tempt some fan favorites into returning.
"We want to revisit characters that have existed on the show
over the years and say where they are now," Zabel said of
Clooney and Julianna Margulies, who played Clooney's love
interest Carol.
"We'd love to get them all back in some way, but that doesn't
mean we're going to. But we're going to try."
But Noah Wyle (Dr. Carter) will return for four episodes.

James Gandolfini Hospitalized...
James Gandolfini was hospitalized after complaining of stomach
pains. The former 'Sopranos' star was taken to New York's St.
Luke's Roosevelt hospital on Tuesday, where he underwent key-
hole surgery on his abdomen.
The 46-year-old actor is now recovering from the operation at
his home. His rep said: "It was a minor procedure and he is
already home."
Keyhole surgery, which is also known as laparoscopic surgery,
is a technique in which small incisions are made, before a
telescopic rod lens system is inserted into the body.
Meanwhile, rumours are running through Hollywood that 'The
Sopranos' is set to be made into a movie.

The rocker who never wanted to be a singer and only took up
singing when no one else in his first band would?
It's Bryan Adams... The 48-year-old desperately wanted to
be a guitarist as a teenager, but admits he never considered
stepping in front of a microphone until he was forced to.
He recalls, "I wanted to be a guitar player. I wanted to be the
guy at the back of the stage, not the front, but I knew there
weren't many singers around and I'd kind of worked out how to
sing while walking to school. "Aged 14, with my mates from
school, we were fooling around, making a recording. We asked
each other who was going to sing. I said, 'Umm, okay, I'll
sing,' and I did." Bryan insists his bandmates were left stunned
by his talent: "After I'd sung no one said anything. There was
this stunned silence. I was like, 'Was I that bad?' But at that
point I figured that I could sing pretty good."
