What a weekend! My head is still spinning and my mind numb.
I don't know if it was me, but this year things backstage at
the Academy Awards seemed more subdued.

Prince To Have A Secret Hip Replacement...
'Purple Rain' singer Prince, is being forced to undergo the
surgery at just 49-years-old after suffering excruciating
pain as a result of years of blistering performances.
A source says, "For months Prince, who always puts on the
most energetic shows, has been complaining of pain every
time he moves.
"He is totally crushed because he knows he will never be the
same again."
The surgery will involve removing the ball and socket of
Prince's damaged hip and replacing it with a titanium joint.
He is allegedly booking into a private hospital and aides have
reportedly cleared two months from his diary to allow him time
to recover from the operation.

Sean Penn's Model Date...
Sean Penn is reportedly romancing Petra Nemcova.
The Oscar-winning actor, who recently split from second
wife Robin Wright Penn, was seen on a date with the stunning
model at Los Angeles nightclub Villa.
An onlooker said "Sean looked very pleased that he was out
with one of the world's most beautiful women. They couldn't
keep their eyes off each other."
Petra has previously dated British singer James Blunt while
Sean's wife, Robin, reportedly served Sean divorce papers
after she found him partying with two Russian girls in a
Lake Tahoe hotel suite.

There Will Be A Fourth 'Bourne' Movie...
Matt Damon will reunite with director Paul Greengrass for a
fourth movie in the Jason Bourne franchise.
Oscar-winner Damon has played the amnesiac secret agent on
three occasions.
Damon and Greengrass had both suggested that 'The Bourne Ultimatum',
which won three technical prizes at Sunday night's Academy awards,
would be the final installment for the action hero, despite 2006
reports that the franchise could stretch to five films.
But according to Variety, the director-star team have been
contracted for a fourth film about the deadly assassin, with
both having agreed to rejoin the project.
Though author Robert Ludlum only penned three Jason Bourne books,
both Damon and Greengrass said last year they would consider
making a fourth as long as the other was involved.
And in a lengthy piece regarding Universal Studios' marketing
plans, Variety reports that "recently, [studio chairman, Marc]
Shmuger and [co-chairman, David] Linde landed Paul Greengrass
and Matt Damon for a fourth Bourne movie, even though the director
and star seemed ready to wrap it up after three pics".

Angelina Jolie Avoids Running Into Jennifer Aniston...
Angelina Jolie failed to turn up at a pre-Oscars bash on Saturday
because Jennifer Aniston was there.
The pair were expected to meet at the Warner's Night Before party
at the Beverly Hills Hotel for the first time since Jen split with
ex-husband Brad Pitt 3 years ago.
While Jennifer, 39, did attend as planned, Angelina, 32, and Brad,
43, went to the Independent Spirit Awards instead.
A very pregnant Angelina wore a figure-hugging dress which clearly
showed she is expecting her second baby.

vacation by herself?
It's Mandy Moore... Mandy, who has been romantically linked to
actors Zach Braff and Wilmer Valderrama and tennis ace Andy Roddick,
only recently managed to talk herself into taking a solo break.
She said: "I was always kind of terrified of going on vacation alone.
The thought really scared me, but I wanted to push past that bruise
and do it anyway.
"But I ended up having the most incredible time. It was so peaceful,
not having to answer to anyone or take anybody else's opinions into
account. It is empowering, and it's such a simple thing to do."
