Howdy Folks,
I hope y'all had a safe and happy new year. My wife and I
went to a romantic dinner at a very nice restaurant to
bring in the new year.
We enjoyed Italian cuisine, I know it sounds fancy, and
quite a bit of wine. After dinner the wife and I walked
around town until 3 a.m. We drove home and snuggled until
the sun had come up.
The next morning a county sheriff was at our door askin'
us about our evenin'. I told him about our dinner, walkin'
and snugglin'. He looked upset and asked us about our
truck. I showed him the car and suddenly realized that we
didn't own a blue pickup, but a green pickup.
The sheriff explained that he and his wife had dinner at
the same restaurant we did and the valet had given us the
wrong keys. I told him that the evenin' had caused our
judgment to become clouded. He seemed to understand and
smile until he sat in his truck and realized my wife threw
up in the back.
2008 is off to a great start.
