The Rock/RAW, WWE Hall Of Fame Not On TV, More

-The Rock's surprise appearance at last week's RAW in
Washington D.C. was put together by WWE writer, Brian
Gerwitz. Gerwitz is said to be one of the few people
within the company who still stay in contact with The
Rock. The entire promo was taped without the former WWE
champion using a script.
-As of right now it appears this year's WWE Hall of Fame
ceremony will be held only on WWE.com. The USA Network
has not cleared a timeslot for the event.

Backstage News On Steve Austin & The Rock, Mick Foley

Reports are suggesting that Vince McMahon is attempting
to get JBL back in the ring on a full-time basis. JBL is
scheduled to go through a new treatment for his broken
vertabrae and herniated disc in his lower back, which
caused him to retire from the ring.
Mick Foley has been pitching ideas for after WrestleMania
23. He has not specifically offered ideas for WrestleMania
23.
Stone Cold Steve Austin's promo which he cut last week on
ECW on Sci Fi was put together by Stephanie McMahon.
WWE approached The Rock regarding appearing at the WWE
Hall Of Fame Ceremony, however he turned down the offer
due to scheduling concerns.

I agree with Stephanie,
Owen Hart may not have been an every night Main Event
wrestler, but that's because his career was cut short.
He had just been in the WWE for a few years while Bret
had been a fan favorite for over a decade. The simple
fact that he was so passionate about wrestling that he
put himself in the situation that ultimately ended his
life, should be automatic grounds for induction into
the WWE Hall of Fame. And anyone who says he didn't
have a choice is an idiot! There is always a choice,
and Owen Hart died choosing to participate in a stunt
in an attempt entertain millions of wrestling fans.
Whether he actually gets inducted into the hall or not,
the fact that so many fans still remember him and the
good things he did for wrestling means that he is in
the Fans' Hall of Fame. That is more prestigious than
any business recognition.
