Greetings fellow quote lovers:
Friends, next week is a special landmark. This marks the
ninth year I have been selecting quotes. When I started
out, we only had a few hundred people.
Over the years, we have had over 500,000 people get an
issue of QAD and now weekly quotes. I have made many
friends and many enemies. What started out as a sincere
effort to bring the words that "inspired, provoked and
entertained" generations became a journey for me.
It was a journey because for every quote we published, I
ended up reading at least 10 more... and in the course of
QAD, the selections became a snapshot of my own psyche.
My oldest son returned from college to visit and I am
flooded with memories... great memories and am acutely
aware of time. Yes, time moves with increasing rapidity.
I spent the entire weekend reading all of the quotes
selected over the past 9 years. This was one heck of a
time. So, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite
quotations over the past 9 years. I hope you enjoy these.
