Greetings Citizen:
We had more people participate in last week's poll than any
other time in 15 months. This week's poll will certainly get
your juices flowing.
For all of you folks that wish to complain about our politics
and threatening to unsubscribe because of a perceived liberal
bias...if you leave the Polling Station you will just leave
the field to your perceived opponents.
If our antiwar politics sound liberal, it is only because so
many conservatives have no sense of the historical roots of
the conservative movement. I suggest you start to read the
libertarian authors like Justin Raimondo and Lew Rockwell.
This is the voice of true conservatism. Antiwar.com was started
by a conservative. I cannot help if folks believe that walking
in concert with a supposedly "conservative President" is the
litmus test for conservative values.
The deficit under this administration is an abomination to
true conservative principles. Propaganda about making one
country or another "democratic" is not a conservative ideal -
it is a concept that Leon Trotsky and Woodrow Wilson endorsed.
True conservatives understand this and we find ourselves in
agreement with the former editor Henry. So, go ahead,
unsubscribe or read a real conservative columnist like Charley
Reese.
