I'm Walking Here....
Here's an item (the Telescopic Walking Stick) that I never
really thought I would use. But I decided to try it out
when we went for a walk along a trail a few weeks ago.
It was fun to use.... yes I said fun. When we would come up
to a stream, I would poke at things in it. I also used it
when I wanted to venture off the beaten path, just to make
sure that there were no snakes in front of me. Believe it or
not, it made the walk more enjoyable. Check it out and the
unbelievable low price.
Normal Price: $19.99
DEAL PRICE: $8.27
Whether you're an avid hiker or just looking for a little
extra help walking around, the Telescopic Walking Stick is
just what you need. It's fully adjustable to fit your height
and the spring loaded shaft helps reduce strain on your wrists,
back, knees, legs and feet. With a built in compass it will get
you through hard rocky terrain or just across the street.

Finding the Right Time To Schedule Online Ads
Google AdWords now lets you schedule the display of your ads
using "Ad Scheduling." Most online shopping happens on week-
days between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and then in the late after-
noon between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., largely at work, according
to comScore Networks, a Chicago Internet market-research firm.
ComScore analyzed online shopping trends in 2005 and found
that Monday and Tuesday had the highest shares of consumer
spending, each with 18% of total sales for the week; Wednesday
had 17% of sales; Thursday 15% and Friday 16%. Sales fell off
markedly on Saturday and Sunday, averaging 9% and 8% of a
week's total sales, respectively.
The highest percentage of dollars spent online during a
typical weekday occurs between 11 a.m. and noon, followed by
4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and then 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., comScore says.
By far, consumers spend the fewest dollars online in the hours
between midnight and 8 a.m.

Gian Fulgoni, comScore's chairman, says online shopping in its
early years was done predominantly from work, where employees
had access to high-speed Internet that made it less tedious
than using their dial-up connections at home. Consumers
continue to do the bulk of their shopping at the workplace,
and not just over lunch break, even though three-quarters of
all households with Internet now have broadband. "In the
online world, you really have to get your ads and your
marketing out in the day," Mr. Fulgoni says.
About 58% of all online shopping is done at work, down just 1%
from a few years ago. And one of the busiest online shopping
days isn't Black Friday -- the day after Thanksgiving when
people crowd the malls -- but rather on what's now known as
"Cyber Monday," the Monday following Thanksgiving when people
return to work.
Peter Fader, a marketing professor at University of
Pennsylvania's Wharton School, says some advertisers start
running ads at midnight and exhaust their daily preset ad
budgets by midday. So a savvy Internet retailer could make
sure its ad runs in the late afternoon, when online shopping
spikes but ad competition falls.

DID YOU KNOW?
You do lose control when you use distributors or
reps to perform the sales function for your
company. Major problems can erupt when distributors
make commitments or promises on your behalf. Be
sure that you define up front each party's
responsibilities to avoid such situations.
