Greetings fellow quote lovers:
The first quote today is from Voltaire. It is such an amaz-
ing quotation and is so important today. I am often asked
what my credentials are for deconstructing the absurdities
that surround the modern narrative of political events.
It is a great thing to know that all one needs is an open
mind and a logical way of thinking to view events with a
proper prism. You do not need to be an "authority".
For instance. If you hear absurdities, you need to call
them absurdities. The entire notion that Bush wants
democracy in the Middle East is one such absurdity.
The US encouraged HAMAS to participate in elections in the
occupied Palestinian territories. This is a FACT. They
never thought they would win. When HAMAS won, the US and
the European Union moved to nullify the elections.
Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan are staunch US allies, yet
are dictatorial regimes. Do you need a doctor's degree in
political science to understand this? The US supported the
coup which brought Musharaf to power over the democrat-
ically elected Bhutto (was was recently assassinated).
What the powers-that-be want is for you to accept the sound
bite and not apply the principles they supposedly stand for
in a systematic way. They count on your boredom... count on
you accepting the absurdities. The media is part of the
scam my friends. They wish to support the prevailing
mythology.
