Hi! I'm Lizzy!! and I'm not Martha!!!
* A couple of months ago I had my car stolen. The people
who took it thought they were real artists and drew on the
cover of the air bag on my steering wheel with a thick felt
tip black pen. Can you please tell me how to get it out.
Thank God I got it back without any other damage!!!)
I sent an email to the felt tip pen company but they haven't
given me the courtesy of an answer.

STAIN REMOVAL FOR FELT TIP PEN INK
Washables and Nonwashables:
Place a pad of clean paper towel or disposable muslin on
the spot.
Drip a small amount of dry cleaning fluid through the spot
from the back of the fabric, allowing it to soak the pad.
Take another pad and dampen with dry cleaning fluid, then
gently blot the stain, repeating when the fluid evaporates.
If stain remains, repeat this process except use a
combination of 1 part mineral oil & 8 parts dry cleaning
fluid. Finish by flushing with dry cleaning fluid alone.

But sometimes tragedy happens to more delicate fibers. Here
are two reliable methods for getting the ink out.
WASHABLES METHOD 1
Mix 1 quart warm water, 1/2 tsp liquid detergent and 1 tbsp
ammonia, then soak the stain with this for 30 minutes and
wash as usual.
If stain remains, mix 1 quart warm water with 1 tbsp
vinegar and soak for 30 minutes, then rinse.
If stain remains, allow to air dry and blot with alcohol.
Cover the area with a clean paper towel or disposable
muslin that has been dampened with alcohol for 30 minutes,
changing the pad with a fresh one as it absorbs the stain.
Keep the spot and pad moist with alcohol. Wash as usual.
If stain remains, bleaches are an option if applied with
caution (lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide, oxygen bleach like
Clorox II, and chlorine bleach, in order of strength and
harshness).

vinegar, then soak in this solution for 30 minutes, then
wash as usual and allow to air dry.
If stain remains, blot with alcohol. Cover the area with

dampened with alcohol for 30 minutes, changing the pad with
a fresh one as it absorbs the stain. Keep the spot and pad
moist with alcohol. Flush with water.
If stain remains, mix 1 quart water, 1 tsp liquid detergent
and 1 tbsp ammonia and let soak 30 minutes. Rinse and allow
to air dry.
If stain remains, white fabrics may be treated with a dye
remover purchased in the dyes section of a supermarket.
Bleaches are an option if applied with caution (lemon
juice, hydrogen peroxide, oxygen bleach like Clorox II,
and chlorine bleach, in order of strength and harshness).

In the real world, the odds of being harmed this way are
