-----------------------------------------------------------

Good morning,

Trees are an invaluable resource and we use it for innumer-
able purposes. Fortunately, it is a renewable resource.
Unfortunately, we over-use it and do not take care to manage
the resource properly. Tens of thousands of acres of forest
are harvested without being replaced, and certain varieties
of trees are being harvested to near extinction.

There are no easy solutions to saving the world's forests,
but buying good wood is a great start. Scroll down for some
things to think about the next time you buy any wood products
or even lumber for construction.

Thanks for reading,

Here's an amazing deal. You get not one, not two, but

the ones you see on TV. The difference? The price! Get
three (3) brushes for less than what you pay for one on
TV or from a store. This was a special buy we pulled off,
but we only got 1250 pieces. Once they're gone, they are
gone for ever. This is below the manufacturer's cost.

* Buy secondhand, recycled, reclaimed or waste timber. A
better environmental choice than buying new. Although this
type of lumber makes up less than one percent of what is
available, so finding it may be difficult.

* Buy locally produced timber products that are Forest
Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. If you can't recycle,
buying locally-produced timber products means less fossil
fuel is used in transportation. All FSC certified wood
carries the FSC logo.

* Without FSC certification, there is no guarantee that your
timber is from a well-managed forest.
