Michael Douglas has taken a swipe at American men for being
too girly.
He says modern males spend too much time grooming and pam-
pering themselves to be real men.
He is quoted as saying: "Young guys are somewhat androgynous
and use cosmetics. The lines seem to be getting much closer."
The 61-year-old also admitted he's fed up of young actors
hero-worshipping him. He said: "I'm getting tired of this
sort of respectfulness they give me. When they start calling
me Mr. Douglas, I'm like, 'Hey! Shut the f**k up!'"

-------- Thief Tries To Take Officers For A Ride -----------
MIAMI - A Miami man was due in court on a car-stealing
charge with no way to get there, so, police say, he stole
another car to keep his date. That landed Thomas Minks in a
lot of trouble -- with the law catching up with him in the
parking lot of the Miami-Dade Justice Building where a stun
gun was used to stop him after he tried to flee and report-
edly almost ran down two officers, the Miami Herald said.
The Mercedes he was accused of stealing was equipped with a
Global Positioning System that guided police right to him.
Minks, 32, faces two counts of aggravated assault on police
officers and single counts of grand theft auto and fleeing
and eluding police officers.
