Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd Announce Tour Together
Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd will tour together for the
first time with nine amphitheater shows scheduled in
August. Billed as the Rock and Rebels tour, the first
show will be held in Oklahoma City on Aug. 8 and con-

Garth Brooks Will Perform At ACM Awards
Garth Brooks will perform a medley of his greatest hits
at the Academy of Country Music Awards on May 18 in Las
Vegas. He will also accept the inaugural Crystal
Milestone Award for his sales achievements. "The ACM
has always taken care of me and my music," said Brooks,
who added, "I am flattered and humbled by what this
award means. The fact that they have never awarded it
before makes me feel the respect and the faith they
have in me as an artist, and I will continue to work my
butt off to make sure they are happy with their choice."
