Good Morning Groanies,
Stacy told me something quite shocking yesterday. She said
something that set off an explosion in my brain that will
resinate for years to come. She said, "We're going to the
'New Kids On The Block' concert in the Fall!"
For the love of all creatures, great and small!
"Why!?!" I asked her.
She replied, "'New Kids...' Rock!"
I just didn't know what to say, but I had to say something.
"I'm not going to see that sad display. That show is one
of the seven signs of evil and the forthcoming of the
apocalypse. I'm not going! I will not be part of it!"
She then informed me, "Sweetie, the girls and I are going.
You aren't going to be anywhere near that show. I love you
too much to put you through that."
I responded, "Well, have a good time."
She's a saint... and she probably said that because she
forgot to get a ticket for me... which is the best possible
thing that she could have done.
That was a close one.
