Greetings Biography Buff,
This week we remember two of the Kennedy brothers, JFK and
RFK. John F. Kennedy died this week in history when he was
assassinated 43 years ago, on November 22, 1963. However, his
younger brother, Robert F. Kennedy who was also assassinated
was born this week in 1925 on November 20. Bobby would be
81 years old. This week we pay tribute the Kennedys, iconic

****Some famous people born during this week in history:
-- November 18, 2006 - Owen Wilson
Academy Award-nominated American actor and writer. Wilson was
nominated for an Academy Award for his work on the screenplay
of The Royal Tenenbaums, but he is perhaps best known for his
roles as Roy O'Bannon in Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights
and as Hansel in Zoolander. Wilson, along with his brother
Luke, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Jack Black,
and Steve Carell are considered members of the Frat Pack.
Owen is the first "Frat Pack" member to receive an Academy
Award nomination.
-- November 22, 1921 - Rodney Dangerfield
Comedian and actor, best known for the line "I don't get no
respect" and his monologues on that theme. His career peaked
during the early 1980s, with his appearance in Caddyshack,
starring roles in Easy Money and Back To School and the
release of his Grammy Award-winning comedy album No Respect.
-- November 20, 1925 - Robert F. Kennedy
Younger brother of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, served as
United States Attorney General from 1961 to 1964. His
contribution to the African-American Civil Rights Movement is
sometimes considered his greatest legacy. After his brother's
assassination in late 1963, Kennedy resigned in September 1964
and was elected to the United States Senate from New York that
November. He was assassinated mere moments after delivering a
speech celebrating his victory in the 1968 Democratic
presidential primary of California. Three days later, on
June 9, 1968, President Johnson declared an official Day of
National Mourning in response to the public outpouring of
grief following Kennedy's death.

-- November 22, 1963 - John Fitzgerald Kennedy
The 35th President of the United States. He served from 1961
until his assassination in 1963. He was elected President in
1960 in one of the closest elections in American history. He
is, to date, the only Roman Catholic to be elected President
of the United States. Major events during his presidency
included the Bay of Pigs invasion, the Cuban Missile Crisis,
the building of the Berlin Wall, the Space Race, early events
of the Vietnam War, and the American Civil Rights Movement.
Kennedy's assassination is considered to be a defining moment
in U.S. history due to its traumatic impact on the nation as
well as on the political history of the ensuing decades.
-- November 20, 2006 - Robert Bernard Altman
An American film director known for making films that are
highly naturalistic, but with a stylized perspective. In
2006, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
recognized his work with an Academy Honorary Award. His
films MASH and Nashville have been selected for preservation
in the United States National Film Registry.
