Greetings Biography Buff,
The video for today features Lance Armstrong winning his first
Tour De France title, the second by any American. Lance not
only won professional cycling's most prestigious race, but he
went on to win it a record seven consecutive times. Despite the
allegations of drug abuse, Armstrong describes himself as "the
most tested athlete in the world". He is one of the greatest
athletes of all time, being name Sports Illustrated Sportsman
of the Year in 2004. Also he received an ESPY Award for Best
Male Athlete in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006.
