Greetings Biography Buff,
Ben Affleck comes from an ordinary family, outside of
Boston, but has now made a name for himself as an actor,
director, and writer. He came to national attention when
he and best friend Matt Damon wrote the screenplay for
and starred in Good Will Hunting in 1997. They shared
credit and both received the Oscar for Best Original
Screenplay.
