Greetings Biography Buff, 

Tomorrow marks the onset of Black History Month, the annual 
celebration that has existed since 1926. Today's video clip 
features Sammy Davis Jr. an entertainer, dancer, singer, 
comedian and actor who after he achieved success, refused to 
work at venues which would practice racial segregation. His 
demands eventually led to the integration of Miami nightclubs 
and Las Vegas, Nevada casinos.
