A Feather From My Son
After reading a story from another person about the presence
of feathers from heaven, I remembered a few of my own
experiences. For one, my 16 year old son and his friend (18)
passed away in a truck accident. Shortly after, his mother
and I were talking, and she was telling me how she found a
feather and knew it was from her son. We both worked at a
school and were on a field trip or something being on a
school bus. I commented, "Gee, why hasn't my son sent me
one, too?" About ten minutes later, I just glanced down on
the floor of the bus, and there was a fluffy white feather!
I knew that he had heard me and decided to send his feather
to me. It's those little signs that we have to be open to.
They're around us all the time and stress that our loved
ones that have passed are still with us.
