Alan Jackson Releases New CD, Good Time
Alan Jackson's Good Time leads a long list of releases
on Tuesday. Jackson wrote all 17 songs on the album,
including his current hit, "Small Town Southern Man."
Other new albums include Carlene Carter's Stronger
(Yep Roc), Chatham County Line's IV (Yep Roc), Kathleen
Edwards' Asking for Flowers (Rounder) and Ashton
Shepherd's Sounds So Good (MCA Nashville). New folk
albums include Caroline Herring's Lantana (Signature

Josh Turner Fights Sinus Infection, Curtails Schedule
Josh Turner has canceled all immediate commitments in
order to recover from a chronic sinus infection he
acquired following a recent bout with the flu. Turner
has continued to work during the past few weeks, but
doctors have advised him to curtail his schedule to
ensure a full recovery. Turner was scheduled to perform
Friday (March 7) at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. No
tour dates have been affected, and he will return to
the road with Carrie Underwood for a March 18 concert
in Bethlehem, Pa.
